    Mark Paton brings over four decades of upstream oil and gas expertise to his role as Business Development Director at Upstream Petroleum. His career began with engineering positions at BP and BHP Petroleum, where he quickly advanced to manage BHP’s Northern Australian operations, overseeing multiple FPSO assets in the Timor Sea.<\/p>

    In 1997, Mark established Upstream Petroleum, building a reputation for exceptional project delivery. His landmark achievement\u2014developing the Basker\/Manta Field for Anzon Energy with first oil in just 363 days\u2014exemplifies his fast-track execution capabilities. As former COO of Hibiscus Petroleum Berhad, Mark successfully managed UK assets including Anasuria and Marigold.<\/p>

    Today, as the primary point of contact for customers, Mark leverages his specialized expertise in FPSO operations, subsea completions, and efficient project execution to understand client needs and develop tailored solutions that help operators achieve their development goals.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

    Gurin serves as Operations Director at Upstream Petroleum, bringing over 40 years of specialized experience in upstream petroleum and LNG project delivery. His distinguished career features exceptional achievements in FPSO design, engineering, and execution across global operations.<\/p>

    His landmark accomplishments include leading the Kraken FPSO development in the North Sea and delivering Shell’s Curlew FPSO in a record-setting 18 months from FEED to first oil. Gurin’s extensive portfolio encompasses numerous successful FPSO-based Pre-FEED and FEED projects, including the Rosebank Development, Etan FPSO, OCTP Ghana FPSO, and Eni Angola East Hub FPSO.<\/p>

    At Hibiscus Petroleum Berhad, Gurin managed the Marigold Project, overseeing an FPSO FEED and a detailed Pre-FEED for long-distance subsea tieback to the Piper Bravo Platform.
